A runner in need

Not too sure about how many others on the forum run but I got a question. I'm looking for a nice affordable distance/speed monitor for when I go running. Any suggestions?

I don't know of any such thing that is portable. Just run on a treadmill or the next best thing is run with a cheap ass stopwatch, or a digital watch with a stopwatch function.

The distance speed monitors are the most common component of a Pedometer. You can get these at a relatively low price.

My suggestion is to get a heart rate monitor that comes with those features. You can really maximize your training in cardio and endurance exercises with a good heart rate monitor. This allows you to do things like target heart rate training, max vo2 and lactic thresh hold training.

Awesome I've been checking them out. I usually run 3-5 miles 20 days out of the month and I want to start tracking my distances/speed and such. Thanks for your fast replies everyone
