Which weight class should I go for?

Hey, first time poster, well, anyways my normal weight is 147 lbs and my height is around 5'9"-5'10" i used to train at 145 lbs, but i'm thinking about dropping down to 135 lbs or move up to 155 lbs, I'm also thinking about which weight class I would benefit more financially, so that would point to the ufc unless they bring in featherweights or bantamweights.

What ever you want. If you feel strongest at 135 then go for it but if you want to and get good enough to go to the UFC then move up.

You can't go straight into the UFC but it's whatever you feel strongest at and what ever is easiest and then make that division yours.

I don't know your body type as well so it is impossible to make my opinionated decision on the internet without a recent picture.

How old are you? If you are younger keep in mind you will grow and "fill out".

Bare in mind that once you start full training for your ufc career you'll be spending way more time on building muscles and way less time on dreaming, so you will probably gain a lot of weight there.

i've found it easier to weigh about 3-5lbs more than the class i'm fighting in. it keeps cutting weight very simple and you go into fights feeling fresh. constant weight fluctuation can lead to a variety of weight problems so its best to build up to a weight you want to stay at and stay close to it. don't walk around at 205 and cut to 185 for fights, for example.
that having been said, either class sounds fine for you.
