Starting up, looking for a good gym and style of training
Hello I'm just starting out, and wanted to take up something that I can learn really quick, I don't plan on doing any ring fighting, just something that can be applied to real world and really effective.
I'm in the Los Angeles/South Bay area and will be moving in about 4mo's for a new job so wanted to take something that I can learn quickly in the meantime.
A few coworkers have told me to take up Krav Maga, and I was just wondering if it was worth taking up? I'm just an average guy and don't plan on doing any competition fighting, thanks for the input.
