Some questions guys

Okay, I'm sixteen years old, so obviously I have plenty of time, before I can do anything.

But here's the thing, I'm really interested in getting into this MMA stuff, but there are some big problems...

I'm pretty much what I consider just about out of shape and about 190 pounds at 6'3.

Now my first question is, what's the best thing I can start doing around the house/outside to get in better shape, if I ever inspire to take things further?

run. or jog. you need to figure out your target heart rate ( Target Heart Rate Calculator ) and maintain it for about 30 min. if you dont like to run, then jump rope, cycle- something.
do some light weightlifting. i dont know how strong you are, but you sound like a big guy. and 190 @ 6'3" isn't overweight (if you are muscular).
also, if mma is your goal, take a martial arts class. judo, bjj, muay thai, anything- these will give you the training you need and help build your physical conditioning at the same time.

Okay, I don't mind running. I probably can't run long distances right now or anything, like for a long time, but I can work my way up, that's not a problem. My dad acted like he'd get me in a karate class or something if I want to, so if that's a good idea, I'll be sure to look more into it. Thanks for the help.

Man, at 16 I highly reccomend you start a beginner jiu-jitsu class. That's probably the most valuable thing you could have going into MMA training when you're older.

If you like the sport of MMA I dont suggest doing karate. I would be doing something more of a fight training or a great conditioning workout. If you dont feel that your in shape condition yourself into shape. I am guessing you dont have much to train with if you are saying around the house. I would find a heavy object to drag around or throw around. An old punching bag is good for that. That helps with taking people down and the game in general. Pushups, curls and chinups will help. But if your not doing anything right now make sure you change your diet a bit when you start. Drink more water, eat a little more maybe even better foods depending on how you eat right now. You are at a good time to start. Start now and train well in 2 years when you can fight in the cage it will be a blast. Dont give up.

yeah karate isnt too practical for mma.
KnockinUout makes a good point about diet. Cut out foods with High Fructose Corn syrup and excess sugar. you'll probably lose 10lbs right off the bat from that.
but mainly you just need a regular workout routine to get into decent shape and as I said before, taking a good Martial arts class will get you into shape. Google martial arts styles plus your town and see what comes up, make a list from there and go visit a few to see if they are for you.

Okay, so I've tried some things and thanks a lot for the help everybody.

I had a good workout going on Saturday, but I severely strained my ankle at the end of the day and it is a lot better, but not one hundred percent. I'm going to go back to the training this weekend. No punching bag, but I want one. The thing is, my neighbor's basketball goal has a padding around it and it's shaped like a stiff punching bag, so I've been using it, for punches, kicks, and knees. My dad suggested Tae Kwan Doe, but I'm assuming that's nothing that I'd want to do with this. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that'd help. As far as pushups, I am pathetic with them. I can do situps, but the pushups kill me. Usually can't do more than a few of those at a time, but I'll try if that's what it takes.

Join a jiu-jitsu or boxing gym if anything, and make sure you read rosstraining.com. That is all
