vale tudo

yo guys im new here, great site
anyways i just started vale tudo about a month ago, anyways i keep getting tapped out
all the people that i know that are really good say it will happen for at least the first three months
i dont want to get discouraged or anything so im just trying to stay on the defense right now, cause i get tapped out when i try a submission
the instructor and everyone is real helpful
but is it normal for me to be tapped out alot? and should i just try the submissions and get tapped out or stay on the defense?
thnks

yes this is normal because at first your are going to react natrually without protecting yourself, often like a new wrestler gets himself in bad postions and rolled etc. Once you learn to protect yourseld without thinking about it things will change a bunch
