Xyience NOX CG3

what do you think about this supplement??

http://www.extremeprosports.com/MMA/...pplements.html

"Xyience actually makes a host of products. Whereas it's likely that you haven't heard of BrainQuicken, you'd need to be dead or living in a cave not to have heard of Xyience. Fighters like Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Rich "Ace" Franklin have done commercials for the product, and virtually everywhere you look in the UFC, even on The Ultimate Fighter reality television show, the stuff is being endorsed.

In short, it's the most popular brand of mixed martial arts fighting supplements out there, hands down.

Xyience Nox CG3 is made up of creatines, glutamines, and nitric oxide boosters. In short, it has everything you need in it. In addition, people are also saying that the new blue raspberry flavor tastes great"

I personally want a supplement to help my performance and have a good source a protein so i can gain muscle?
i dont really know wha im lookin at here so can anyone tell me if i can get what i want from this supplement?
and do i need to be over 18 to take this supplement?

thnks

You know what i use to do with my NOX? i use to throw it into a fire and watch it burn because thats how good it is. Their is so many better ones out there that if i were you i would research a bit more into them but avoid the NOX because its total garbage. Then again, thats just my opinion.

Maybe it's not the exercise you need to focus then, but your food intake and sleeping arrangements. If you want to increase mass, where do you think the mass comes from? Your food. You need to eat (and drink) more than you were before. Otherwise you will not gain any mass. You need carbohydrates to fuel the muscles and protein to rebuild/repair muscles. Not one or the other. You still need a decent intake of fat aswell. I can't exaggerate that enough. When your body is stationary or doing minimal work the bodies primary energy source is fat. Fat also serves numerous functions in your body to keep it healthy. If you are not healthy you are not going to be able to exercise efficiently. . .

Why do you have trouble maintaining a good diet? This is probably your problem and not your exercise regimen. Also not getting enough sleep could be a problem.

lol Damn you are describing the exact same circumstances in school I had word for word. The highest weight I ever got to in high school was I think 10 Stone and I was eating a ****load, really. I also was stuck at 9 stone for tiiiiime. You see I didn't realise you were in school, I take it high school and you are. . . 15-18? If so it's your metabolism, it's high. Totally normally for your age and your exercise activity (higher than average).

Don't sweat it. Don't mess your body around with different diets, supplements and lifting huge weights. At this point in time you need a ****load of nutrients that won't be as important when you have stopped growing. Note people in general can keep growing until they are 24-25 years old.

Just have a balanced diet of meat, fish, veg, fruit, pulses (ie different kinds of beans), rice, pasta, bread and dairy and try to eat at similar times everday. Variety is important. If you get hungry inbetween big meals (ie at school) take some fruit or some cereal (Cardboard/Nutrigrain etc) bars that you can eat inbetween classes and a water bottle so you can drink too. Also alot cheaper than the canteen and snack machines. ;] If anything have a bigger breakfast, before school. Your brain uses a shitload of calories, it needs fuel too even more so when you are actively using it in class.

Now I'm 27 I can put weight on alot easier. Seriously don't worry about it.

Also, that supplement costs what £32 (I found anyways from a quick search on uk sites) for what would be 15-16 days worth. I could get ALOT of decent food from that above list for that. From the grocers at the top of the road I can get 7 apples, 7 oranges, 7 plums, 7 banana's and a bunch of grapes for about £5.50. I can get 6 lean pork chop for about £6.50 and 3 big lean beef steaks for £6, salmon fillets for less, 5 kilo's of quality rice for about £8-10, 20 eggs for about £2. Which do you think is the better option? ;]

[EDIT] - Try and get more sleep too. I know you won't want too lol, but try aim for 7-8 hours at a regular time. You build and repair your muscles mostly when you are asleep. Also guess what burns more calories, when you are awake or asleep? More time awake = less time for your muscles to build and repair and less fuel to actually do the activity of repair.
