I need help please!

I'm going on my second month at my mma gym. We do mma two nights a week and jitz two nights a week but each night its the same. Both mma nights we hit/kick the pads for 3 rounds then go do take downs. On the jitz nights we learn a move or two (no gi) and then do that for a while then roll around. The truth is though I know if I ever want to be good or someone or anything like that I'll need more training outside the gym like sledgehammers and tires etc etc. Is there any help or work out routines you can give me in detail so I don't mess anything up or leave anything out.

Thank you.

My club comes with a gym membership, so we can go do conditioning, strength training, cardio, etc. whenever we want. We have our normal MMA schedule, plus we try to make it to the gym as much as possible. Maybe you should seek out a better deal with another club. Or, if you have the money you can get a gym membership. However, there's a lot you can do on your own. I also plan on getting a tractor tire to beat on, and I've got a few contraptions around the house that I use. If you want to train thrifty, you have to be creative. Check out some good MMA specific stuff on rosstraining.com.

Thank you. I really would get a gym membership also but I'm so broke with college and my car payment etc. I wouldn't mind finding a new gym but sadly it's pretty bleak around here. The only other two gym are strictly jitz so I guess I'll have to make due with what I can. I checked out that rosstraining.com though and he's pretty intense.
