Which is Worse?

I want to know what you guys think is worse.

A: Getting outclassed and beat up in a Kickboxing match?
(Like straight ass kicking and possibly ending in (T)KO)

or

B: Getting outclassed and dominated in a grappling match?
(The dude just owns you and does what ever he wants to you, outclassing you and possibly tapping you out, if not just making you look silly)

Personally, getting beat up just freakin sucks, and getting dominated just destroys you mentally.

What do you guys think is worse?

Getting both of them done in a MMA match?

I have never got smashed in a striking match although i have been dominated in a grappling match and like you said it can be VERY mentally destructive and i am good at the mental aspect. It takes a bit to get back to your feet and simply it sucks to be destroyed in grappling or anything really.

Well the point of this was to see which aspect hurts most.

One of my friends (blackbelt)got absolutely dominated by his master in sparring and just lost it.

But then again, it really freakin sucks getting the shit beat out of you.

Not going to lie. When I got tko by Robinson it drove me nuts. I had trouble sleeping, eating, studying and I even got depressed. I almost gave mma up.

This guy, robinson is pathetic. My technique is on a whole other level. This guys face was swollen, nose smashed and bleeding. I let him up numerous times in the first round, I totally gassed and could not hardly defend myself in the 2nd.

But on march 14th when I faced that same pathetic striker who probably went and lifted some weights to become a better fighter touched my gloves... Man I did not give a ****, I was going to wreck his punk ass. I picked him apart faked him out with a leg kick and threw my overhand right like I was trying to break the world and it didn't land clean but it rocked him just enough for me to bring him down with a 20 punch flurry that didn't end until I was stopped.

That loss bothered me so much because I knew I was better...

When you win and your bloodlust is quenched, that rush and adrenaline you cannot feel pain or fatigue. It becomes obvious to me that anyone who says you can get a better rush by putting a needle in your veins, has never felt the way I have.
