ok so i was playing soccer and i did not stretch at all :O . and my back started to hurt. upper right side near my shoulder , after few weeks it was gone , than i was training takedowns with my coach when i shoot in and pulled him up my pain started again, i was stretched and all idk why . so now it hurts , it does not hurt when i do muay thai and staff but it hurts when i duck myself to the left or stretch to the left of my body , what should i do?
If it's up by the shoulder, I doubt it's either rhomboid muscle. Since it's been three weeks I'd see a doctor, a pulled muscle would of healed by then, unless it's a separate re injury.
Within the three weeks it healed, we're you still working out or icing, resting, letting the arm heal etc?
If you want an anti-inflammatory just take advil or relafen, they are both nsaid's like naproxen. A prescription just gives really large doses like 800 mg's three times a day.
lol next day i was training with dumb bells so .. ye that was preatty stupid.
i asked my friend to do me a massage (no ****) he did and now it feels much better
You could see a chiro and have him yank you around a little. Every couple of years, I get some really bad pain in my rhomboids that nothing else will touch, and so the chiro will crack me, and it will work itself out.
Ironically, I pulled that muscle yesterday. However, I'm feeling much better today with a day's rest but it's still a little tight. In my case, I think I overworked it or wasn't doing the bent over rows with the correct form.
That's definitely weird. Sounds like a prolonged injury that wont stop nagging you. Best idea imo would be going to a doctor.
