Does this seam like a good overall training?

Hi!
can you tell me if this is a good overall training,
4 times a week I do 45 minutes of endurance weight training+ between 20 to 30 minutes of cardio(spinning or run), and this week to bust my ass even more I'm adding 3 days of plyometrik exercices(upper and lower body).
Do you have any pointers?

Thanxxx

Don't do more than you can handle, and try to mix it up.

Heh, What i try to do when i'm weightlifting. i lift untill my brain feels like it's about to explodes (Just Kidding) Overall it's a okay schedule but just like AtomDanger said, Don't do more then you can handle or else you'll probbaly end up with a injury of some sort.

Yeah, I think a lot of people see guys in the gym, or even on TV, and think they should just be able to hop in there and keep up.
Those guys weren't born lifting and training like that, its not a bad thing to be doing less. I only say that because I've seen kids where I live hurting themselves trying not to be embaressed, or trying to keep up with other guys.

Thumbs up

Thanks guys, I don't intend to over do it, I don't use haevy weight, I focus more on long series for endurance, and my plyometrics help out with power, stamina and explosiveness, I recommend it by the way . Thanx again 4 the comments, I do conscider them highly!
Best regards from cold ass Quebec!!

You should really consider doing some kind of martial art....the cardio is different, take for example, BJJ works out your whole body cardio-wise while running only works your legs and BJJ is more fun because you get to learn techniques. Invest in buying a jumping rope. Thats a good way to lose fat and it can be done almost anywhere and it would suck to run outside in the rain. hope that helped

Wink

Thanx, can you explain BJJ, I know what's a BJ.... but BJJ? LOL
Jump rope, nice idea, cheap and effective! Just like my EX...
I'd appreciate an explination! Thx again!
I'm looking in Jujitsu, tai boxing or aikido. But free time's hard in the parenting world!!!

Rofl..of course everyone knows what a BJ is....and that EX comment was funny ahha. Anyways, BJJ or JJJ = Jiu Jitsu.

Theres the reference. It's mainly grappling supplemented with takedowns, submissions, etc etc. Trust me, the workout is good you should try it sometime. If I may suggest, try some Muay Thai, Boxing, Judo and Wrestling those are all good. Remember you don't have to do all of them at the same time because before you know it, your money will go down the drain.

BJJ/JJJ = Jujutsu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Muay Thai = Muay Thai - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Judo = Judo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Greco Wrestling = Greco-Roman wrestling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
