New To MMA - Help Creating A Workout

I recently joined a mma club which teaches both bjj and muay thai. I've only been to a few classes but I've enjoyed them and I would like to do everything I can to become good at this sport.

I'm looking for and all round MMA workout, with emphasis on punching power.

Also, some nutrition information would be a big help. I'd like to get bigger... I am 17 and 5' 5'', 110 lbs, which is tiny.

How I look is only secondary, I'm more worried about a work out that will improve my MMA.

Obviously thats strength, you'll need to look elsewhere for conditioning stuff.

I would do this workout twice a week, then try and go to as many skill classes as possible, and also eat every ****in thing you can and sleep whenever you can. Here's the routine;

Day One:
Squats - 5x5
Weighted dips - 5x5
Chins/Weighted chins - 5x5

Day Two:
Squats - 5x3
Weighted dips - 5x3
Chins/Weighted chins - 5x3

Lol ya idk about that write up anymore... kinda outdated and I wrote it when I didn't know much but the links on that page are good links for sure.

That writeup is worth reading for the "if you are doing 100situps everyday to get a sixpack.......you're gay" line alone.

Actually you posted a thread with Brad Morris talking on functional strength training before which was good but I'm too lazy to find it.
