New To MMA - Help Creating A Workout

I recently joined a mma club which teaches both bjj and muay thai. I've only been to a few classes but I've enjoyed them and I would like to do everything I can to become good at this sport.

I'm looking for and all round MMA workout, with emphasis on punching power.

Also, some nutrition information would be a big help. I'd like to get bigger... I am 17 and 5' 5'', 110 lbs, which is tiny.

How I look is only secondary, I'm more worried about a work out that will improve my MMA.

First of all DO NOT listen to championfighter.

Secondly, listen to this man and read the links

Obviously thats strength, you'll need to look elsewhere for conditioning stuff.

I would do this workout twice a week, then try and go to as many skill classes as possible, and also eat every ****in thing you can and sleep whenever you can. Here's the routine;

Day One:
Squats - 5x5
Weighted dips - 5x5
Chins/Weighted chins - 5x5

Day Two:
Squats - 5x3
Weighted dips - 5x3
Chins/Weighted chins - 5x3

That writeup is worth reading for the "if you are doing 100situps everyday to get a sixpack.......you're gay" line alone.

Actually you posted a thread with Brad Morris talking on functional strength training before which was good but I'm too lazy to find it.
