Thats exactly it, which is why I am such a rut with my diet and exercise routine.

Trying to figure out how to get the body to be about to be able to do three different sports that are completely different. I am not trying to go pro or anything but I like to take my hobbies seriously, not that I am going to turn down and opportunity to go pro in Cycling/ Triathlons.

I guess I just want it all. Strength without increasing my weight to much and endurance without burning away my strength gains. They say it can't be done but damnit its not going to stop me from trying.

Suppose you want to build lean muscle to increase your RMR and along with increasing exercise, eventually lose weight?
Also, I forgot what a catabolic state is.
I don't want a lot of muscle so my weight training program is designed oriented for building strength while keeping muscle growth to a minimum. I've been doing this for a while now and it works. It is a bit slower, but it works. It took a bit of trail and error to get it right.

Thanks a lot guys.
