help for my friends with a heart condition

ok guys one of my friends is really skinny and is trying to get into mma but also wants to get bigger and stronger. he has a heart condition that prevents him from lifting heavy weights. i told him to get stronger he needs to do bodyweight exercises and variations of those such as dips, push ups, pull ups, sit ups and such. i also referred him to www.rosstraining.com and www.rossboxing.com for more variations of normal workouts. if you guys have any more ideas on how he can get bigger and stronger. thanks
