Otherwise, thanks for the advice.

Fat Burners do work. Make no mistake about it. But once you stop using you'll gain it all back.

Or if your body builds up a tolerance to it, it's not going to be as effective and you'll either have to up the dosage or move onto something stronger.

At that point you'll become so stimulant insensitive that nothing will work anymore.

The best way to lose fat is from diet and exercise.

Some supplements that can work, but take time are CLA and Fish Oil.

You can try something like Lean Xtreme by Designer Supplements which I hear works very well at cutting bodyfat.

As for Glutamine it is absolutely worth it. Not only is it a relatively cheap Amino Acid, but it has a ton of benefits.

-Helps with Recovery
-Promotes Positive Protein Synthesis and Muscle Growth
-Naturally Increase Growth Hormone Production
-Boosts Immune System
-Keeps the Body in Positive Nitrogen Balance which is essential for Muscle Growth and Recovery.

It comes in Powder and Capsule form. Best time to take it is Pre and Post workout and in between meals

the only effect that's been proven is the speeding recovery part. I think all others are a result of this. If you recover faster you can work out harder.

Have you tried contrast showers? They're a fairly well documented recovery technique - you alternate between hot and cold water while doing your after-workout shower with the cold as cold as you can stand and the hot as hot as you can stand to improve circulation, detoxification and reduce the buildup of lactic acid. The periods of hot water should be longer than the cold, should focus on particularly sore areas, and the entire process should take no longer than ~15 minutes, ending with cold. You then quickly dry yourself off to stimulate the rewarming of your body.

Ex.
Hot 3min
Cold 2min
Hot 3min
Cold 2min
Hot 3min
Cold 2min
Dry off.

I, personally, have been doing them for quite a while and they've really helped with my recovery times.

eat alot of anti-oxydents. such as blueberryeis, palmagranite, ect.

jeff monson trains to hard that when hes done he takes anti oxydents intravenusly.

also you should eat alot of lettuce and green vegatables ecpecially spinach because spinach is a base and is neutraulizes the acids in you muscles that make you sore

it doesn't, but for training, fish oil supplements can replace your need for NSAIDs like tylenol, advil, etc.

Tho I have heard some chatter about it helping to "burn fat" or however they promote it, it's not its primary function.

Also get some free form Amino Acids

And also if you're "stepping up your workouts" and increasing the intensity you're likey to become a lot more sore the following day.

Soreness is just an indication that your muscles have been stressed and your body cannot recover quick enough. Just keep the protein intake high and get some potassium

Dont waste your time with supplements, especially glutamine. I'll list the supplements I used:

BCAA ethyl ester
creatine
protein shakes
fish oil pills
multi vitamins
vma night cap
glutamine

Only ones I stayed with are fish oil pills, multi vitamin, protien shakes. Research Glutamine, its as show little to no gains if any at all. VMA night cap has positive test results but I didnt notice anything, same with BCAA.

Eat right, sleep enough, take fish oil, multi vitamin and protein shakes. Pace your workouts, workout different muscles daily and change up your workouts.

Well it's not like BCAA's and Glutamine will give you results like AAS.

They will help. I've noticed decreased recovery time with both Glutamine and BCAA's but you have to use them consistently, like any supplement. It takes time to see results.

and I'm pretty sure it's ZMA, not VMA.

Everyone's body chemistry is different we all react to things differently and for someone to say that just because it didn't work for them, it won't work period is just silly. Given how cheap BCAA's and Glutamine are they are worth giving a try.

What's also even more silly is that you say ZMA, Glutamine and BCAA's are useless, but you still use them.....
