What can one achieve in a year?

I am looking to get into MMA when i move house...

Thinking of doing it 4 Days a week classes that is plus KRAV MAGA and Daily physical training with a super strict diet.

Currently im averagly fit and the right weight for my height... Fitness wise isit possible to get to fit enough to fight in amateur computitions after a years training hardcore?

I also work as a bouncer so yeah i guess that might help.

Very possible.

Theres some extreme cases were people have been training less then that and get in the UFC.

Jon Jones is one I believe? I think he was training for 7months when he made his ufc debut .. and he won

EDIT: also once you start training a few months, youll get a good idea of how long itll take before you are ready for some amateur fights

In one year I went from 202 to 260.

In six months I went from a top of 316 to now a much better (but not great) 270. I've stayed pretty constant at 270 because of a surgery that's left my left leg immobile for another two weeks or so. I plan on trying out atro-phex sometime soon to see if I can get any immobile diet+ supplement progress.

So yeah, a lot can happen in one year. My biggest accomplishment was going from a terrible drummer to a world class bass drum marcher in four months, which is a lot harder than it sounds.

I say go for it. Work your butt off. It works.
