So, I've dislocated my shoulder 3 times and I need advice...
So, I've dislocated my shoulder 3 times (1st time during Muay Thai training, then a bad fall kneeboarding, then I got armbarred) and I'm nervous that it will continue to happen if I don't do something about it. My most recent incident happened when I was rolling with a kid thats about 170 and I weigh about 140. I'm kinda tall so I always get stuck rolling with bigger dudes, and this dude was pretty rough, which I ended up paying for.
Any thoughts on how I might be able to work it out, or tighten up the muscles/tendons/ligaments involved in your shoulder area? When is a good time to start working it out? How long should I wait before really using it?
I'd appreciate any help I can get. I'll probably stick to stand up for the rest of the year, since that should cause less trauma than Jiu Jitsu.
