Weight Management

OK, here is the situation, my strength is good, but i simply have bad conditioning, and need to lose weight. The main problem is that im living in a college dorm, with no car, so meals other than the SHITTY ones served in the schools cafateria are impossible(theyve banned everything but a microwave in the dorm) that combined with me having no break between classes in the midday means that me getting the proper group of small meals is impossible as well. Does anyone know a way to make it work with these problems? I lift weights 3 days a week, but that is about it.

Sounds like a tough break. But there is ways around your meal problem. Meal replacement bars are a ok alternative, and if its only for two meals out of six you should be ok. For your other meals canned tuna, salad, beans, bannanas, eggs, broccoli, chicken, fish. These are all basic foods that with a little creativity you can find ways to eat healthy and get your protiens in a tight schedule. I always have my cooler with me in the truck with all my meals for the day(except breakfast & supper) Its hard work but being the best means eating like the best!

If you're already lifting weights you can get some cardio benefits by increasing intensity/reducing the time between sets.
I'll hold on the food suggestions because college usually = on a budget, but even at the cafateria there's usually choices to make. I eat at a cafateria too, I buy the family tuna packets, and I'll eat those if pizza etc... is the only option.

try eating a meal replacement bar inbetween classes. some actually taste pretty good and they have a ton of protein and shit. personally i like met-rx bars.
