Best Protein Supplement - opinions

Been plagued by injuries over the last few months. Anyway, in this time lost alot of muscle and looking to put it back on. Was wondering what you guys recommend as the best protein supplement for its price out there on the market.
Also any suggestions on a good Greens supplement would be appreciated

ON 100% Whey Protein - Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry are my personal favorite tasting protein products they have. I've tried a lot of the other flavors and I wasn't too into them, I'm a plan jane type of guy though.

Controlled Labs Green Magnitude is a creatine product I've been mixing into my supplement intake diet for the last two months. Really awesome, I've gained four pounds since starting it and my weight on the bench press and squat have shot up respectively.

ON Pro Complex (Protein Blend and Loaded with Glutamine and BCAA's)

ON 100% Whey (Great Overall Whey Protein)

Ergopharm GF Pro (Unbelievably tasting Whey Protein with Aminogen for better digestion) Pineapple Mango is the best flavor, IMO. I personally have 3 container of this stuff

Syntha-6 (Great Blend of Slow and Fast Acting Proteins and tastes great too)

American Whey (Very Underrated Whey Protein that also tastes good. Great Price per Serving)

Scivation Whey (10lbs for around $50-60 best bang for your buck and doesn't taste too bad)

For Greens Powder Emerald Balance

I'm not exaclty a huge fan of the more "hardcore" supplements, I just like protein. I might just be stupid, but it feels more natural. I take 1 scoop of 100% whey+water during workout and 1 scoop after. I also eat a lot of egg whites.

Im not exactly an expert, but this is working for me. Just my 2cents.

On taste: You might as well get one that tastes good. I find that the regular old GNC cookies and cream tastes very good. So does strawberry. Ive heard that Designer Whey Chocolate tastes very good as well.

I've used various regular whey proteins, and been very satisfied. However, I found that the predigested proteins like Met RX helped me be a little less sore, and sore for a shorter period of time.

The difference was noticeable, but not enough to make me pay the high price for it. But if you need something extra short-term, give it a try.

Defecato, ergo sum.

I agree. It helps if you can find a protein that is both of good quality and good taste. That way if you enjoy the taste you won't sweat and dread your next serving which mean you can fulfill your daily requirements a lot more easily

I've tried alot of protein powders and so far ON is THE best! It doesn't clump up like most of the other ones i've tried, and it tastes great with just water. I highly recommend it!

work for one of the largest nutrition distributors... tried and seen many many different brands.

One of the best ones for quality/pureness (that i heard of) is 'Kaizen' and 'New Zealand' both are made from New Zealand's cows milk, over there they got pretty high standards and animals are not injected with any hormones or antibiotics.
Kemistry - ProCore is not made from milk at all - never tried it though.

Otherwise get just the one that tastes good, i use Syntrax Apple Ecstasy right now, and must say it tastes nice.
