If you want more protein eat more. If you're competing in the 169lb class you shouldn't ever be hungry. I don't mean to eat unhealthy, but have 5-6 meals a day and if you still aren't getting enough protein get a protein shake. Also like everyone has said you can't spot reduce fat, so doing harder core workouts will only make those muscles stronger not reduce the fat in THOSE areas. But like wukka and someone else said, the thing to do is bulk then cut.
