Where to start?

Well I'd like to think I'm in decent shape:

height: 6'1
weight: 215
bench 1rm: 235
squat 1rm: 430
curl 1rm: 120
mile time: 7:15

Anyways, weight training aside. I have BARELY any MMA training aside from stuff a friend of mine has taught me. I have 1 year of high school wrestling, which wasn't much teaching, behind me. I just don't know where to start, for technique training and all that jazz.

Any help appreciated.

Also, not sure if this is the right section if it isn't please move it =]

Howdy, and welcome to MMAFORUM!

First things first, get to a class, wether that be BJJ or an MMA school.

Then I would say if you have any questions, for either technique or nutrition then ask specific question in the right sections on this site and I am sure you will get a response.

Enjoy!

Sorry to bump this, but I felt this would be better than to make a whole new thread =]

Anyways I was gone for about a week, sure that doesn't really matter to you guys.

I still am at exactly the same stats as above, and I'd just like to know what you guys feel is a good place to start at in getting more into MMA I'm hoping to start competing once I turn 18.

Defiently try and find a school that teaches MMA not just boxing, or bjj, or other things. Just find the closest MMA gym and try out a few classes see how you like it and then start taking all the classes you can to improve all aspects of your game.
