Hernia

Hi all,

ive been mma training for about 6 months, but reicently ive discovered a lump in the lower abdomen, ive been informed by the doc that its the start of a hernia. he wasnt concerned and saids it should settle back down on its own.

my concern is that the training all mma trainees undertake is extremely taxing, would i risk perminant injury if i train on it?

and if i have an operation (Gauze implant) could i resume training without worry. i really dont want to quit training.

Thanks
Steve.

I have the same. Its called an Inguinal Hernia. The only way to repair an inguinal hernia is surgery. But if you dont have insurance you have to wait until it becomes strangulated to get the damn surgery.

DO NOT TRAIN UNTIL YOU HAVE SURGERY.
