Beginner's help needed**
So, I've decided that I wish to persue a mma path** I posted here because I need a LOT of help, and after reading a few posts and whatnot, this seemed like the most appropriate one**
So, a bit about me: I played football, baseball, and wrestled for the better years of high school/middle school, but senior year I quit, and ended up getting fat (not huge, but not how I use to be)**
So, now I need to get my body back, and I have to be honest, I have to call complete ingorance on how to diet properly, and what things to eat besides the obvious ones** Which are peanut butter, oats, brown rice, fruits, green vegetables, ect** So, I'd appreciate any small meal advice**
I started doing a little research on local MMA gyms around my area and came across www**overtimemma**com** It seems a little expensive, but it also seems well worth the money, so just wondering if I can get any advice on how that gym looks from people who know what makes a training gym good** Yes, I am hoping to make this my main means of income, and I realize I'm behind the **** (kinda overweight, been a few years since I've done any wrestling, ect) but I have the desire and drive to make it happen** Also, a little help on what supplements or fat burning/diet pills that work (if any) is appreciated**
I just got a new job so I'm waiting a few weeks to start training at the gym, but in order to get ready, I've been running in the mornings and doing small house workouts (push ups, sit ups, ect)** I've also cut a lot of my bad diet out (like soda)** I now only drink green tea, and water, and I try to watch what I eat, but a lot times I have no other choice**
So, I apoligize for the wall of text, but I'm hoping to get some additional good information here, as it seems there are a lot of knowledgeable people**
Thanks for any help/advice/ect you can provide me, and in the mean time, I'll continue reading posts that are already up**
Have a good day/night**
