I think I need a change
So, I've got the training aspect of my life down pretty well. I've been MMA training for 9 months now, I've lost 95lbs doing it. But I still have a ways to go. I need to lose another 80lbs for the fall So I can fight.
I Think my problem right now is my food. I don't know if its a problem so much, But I think I need to change something and I have no clue what to change.
Currently I'm eating a lot of white meats and fish. Lots of chicken, lots of tuna, a tiny bit of turkey *thats my vice I love the stuff* I've cut out soda and juices completely. I have 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning. skim milk no sugar. *by cups.. i mean small coffee cups you get from your cabinet.. not huge coffee comes from x chain store*
I eat a lot of veggies and cherry tomatoes, I try to eat 6x a day but I work 40-60 hours a week and train 6 days so it gets complicated. Im usually eating 3-4 meals. I try to have a light breakfast. I dont have time to cook in the morning so I usually have a wheat bagel or protien shake. Lunch usually consists of chicken and salad.. if I'm out on a job and I have no choice I'll stop at subway and just have them make me a salad w/some pepper and go to town. Dinner I will have chicken breast, brown rice, steamed veggies.. sometimes *once a week* i'll replace the chicken with some steak. I'm taking multi-vitamens, Drinking xtend through out the day. I fill a gallon and drink that, I also drink it for training.
That has made a HUGE difference in my training level. As for protien I get a lot with the foods I eat but I also have isopure *mixed with water only* after every training session.
I am sure there are holes in my diet, But I've done it this way and I've lost a lot of weight really fast.
Please, I need suggestions as to what I can do to get everything else in check. I don't want to go on a diet where I will starve myself, If I am not content/hungry I will just start eating anything I see. So I cannot afford to starve myself and I think thats kind of stupid anyways.
