Thumbs down Painful Wrist?

Hey Guys,
I have a problem when im training
For some reason when im working on my stand up, ill be working away and then ill throw a right and i get a pain straight in my wrist, seems like its exactly on the joint?
i thought all it needed was rest so i did for 2 weeks then tonight i tryed again and all of a sudden bang, and i get that same pain, it goes away after five minutes and a train but now after training its sore again? i realy dont know why this is happening its not happened before. There is no swelling either. Anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it?
Thanks,
Dean

Are you wearing hand wraps? Are you punching with correct form?

yes im wearing handwraps and i believe i am punching in correct form, i recieve MMA training and have never had any bad feedback on my punches. You think it may be my punch bag? its the reebok standing one and swings around alot, maybe im being to hasty and punching off target on dodgey angles? what you think?

dude the pain goes away and there is no swelling or serious injury? That happens to me all the time, mostly when im not wearing hand wraps but its just one of those things. Its bad punching, if you let your wrist limp or any little thing really it happens, even if you have good punching form you will let a bad one slip every now and then. I really wouldnt worry about it, just keep your fists tight when you punch as thats when it usualyl happens to me, when i dont keep them tight i mean.

On a more serious note, when you get the wrist pain is it constant or does it only hurt when you punch.

For example do you have pain doing things like picking things up, turning door knobs, etc or is it exclusively when you punch?

i have similar pains and actually injured my wrist not a log ago - i figured that it happens when pad holder hits me back in my fists with pad and i guess does it harder than needed.
So it's not only me hitting the pad but also pad hits me with pretty good force...

yea sometimes after its happened ill pick something up and it will hurt, but ive been on the bag again 2nite and theres no problem, i just kept a stronger fist and tightened my hand wraps some more. And yea Zemelya the first time i encountered this problem was when the pad holder was hitting back.
