To gain any weight whatsoever I have to eat an absolutely ridiculous amount, right now I'm just maintaining and I eat more than pretty much everyone I know and twice as often. Like I throw down fried stuff, peanut butter, fatty meat etc. on top of all the healthy shit I eat and barely gain any fat. I never go more than 2-3 hours without getting something somthing substantial to eat and snack all the time in between then. it sucks, but I just gotta eat and sleep more.

You're lucky, imo. I gain weight regardless of how little I eat. I can eat 1000 calories of clean vegetables and fruit a day and I'll still gain weight. Quite disgusting really.

The grass is always greener brother....if I ate a piece of fried chicken, it would take me 3 weeks to work it off, it's very lame. You should do it sumo style, eat a huge dinner and go to sleep right after, you'll become very healthy.

Just curious, how old are you Negation?

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

If you're trying to lose weight, why spend money on protein bars? You can get just as much protein out of some good whey powder and it's about half the calories. Also, protein bars are not going to speed up your metabolism. You need to work out regularly and eat healthy.

-I'm trying to maintain my muscle mass but lose fat.
-I have Scivation Whey Protein as is.
-They can in some cases but that's not the main factor I based my decision off of.
-I do workout regularly and I do eat somewhat healthy. I'm just trying to get to the next level which would be 8-10 % body fat. Currently at 12% body fat.
