Best core excercises for size/shape
i just want to know what the best size and shape excercises are for your abs. I know between 15-20 abdominal exercises but i dont know which are best for size and shape.

I have relatively the same goal as you as far adding overall mass to my core
I workout my abs 6 days per week. I do maybe 3 or 4 of these exercises Leg Raises Weighted Rope Crunches Abdominal Machine V-Ups Side Bends Decline Sit Ups with Plates Swiss Ball Crunches Jacknives Planks I would use more weighted exercises for overall development. I try to keep a rep range around 12-15 or 12-20 |
Ok, i can do most of those daily, just wont abs just wont get any bigger, stronger but not bigger. I know its function over looks but my core is resilient and in great shape, i want to get the looks as well.

Then lower your bodyfat. Having a ripped midsection has way more to do with that than doing a retarded amount of exercises to make your abs grow.

what are planks they always come up in these threads?

Check your nutrition. This is going to be the biggest factor if you really want nice abs. What do you mean when you say shape? Everybody's abs will look different. Also, do not overtrain your midsection... give at least a days rest between your ab workouts.
