any complex carb, there are other ones besides oatmeal that are palatable in the am. that is to say one with a low glycemic index, which is why trey b is telling us whole wheat bread etc. pasta is not evil, its only in the middle of the glycemic index, whole wheat pasta has a bunch of fiber and more protein also. this was a really useful post (trey's) and I'm going to write down the menu he put.
altho if yr a girl, or your girl wants to lose weight, you don't need all those calories. i'm sure there are other girls on here, theyre just quiet or something.
btw any of you living in a nice warm state, count yr blessings, it is so damn cold in upstate NY right now I have to wear 2 layers running in order to break a good sweat and that's INSIDE.
ozz you should drink 64 oz water per day, a little more if yr training hard, expect to take a whiz once an hour whilst working out, or yr not drinking enough water.
