A fitness/nutrition board on another forum I frequent is in love with BSN Lean Dessert which is a whey/casein mix. It's fkin pricey though. Is there a whey protein, or whey/casein mix, that is cheaper and doesn't taste shitty?

Have you tried BSN Syntha6? Several different kinds of protein with different absorption rates. Thus, you get more stable blood levels.

I just recently switched to it after using All The Whey protein. The taste is unbelievable. The only downside is its price.

That's what I was getting at. I don't spend that much on vodka FFS! there have to be other brands cheaper that taste at least OK.

All the whey has decent prices, and high quality protein. The taste isn't bad either.

I think a 5lb container of whey isolate is around $45.

That's not a protein powder... Shit load of carbs so it's your choice.

You don't need as much protein as you think.

I take 2 scoops of blended protein before bed.

It is better to get Protein from food sources but my parents rarely ever buy anything thats high in protein on a regular basis. Everyone but me in the fam in on the low carb, low fat bullshit.

So I have to resort to Tuna, which I'm really getting sick of, I don't even chew it any more I just swallow it and wash it down with water.

No. No normal food can replace a pws consisting of whey and maltodextrin.
