I couldn't really say on a monthly basis. Because on of the big buy items I get is a 10lbs bag of Whey and that could last me at least 2 months. But annually. I'd say about $500-$800

Which is basically all on Multivitamins, Protein, Fish Oil and White Flood

White Flood isn't what I would call tasty but it's bearable and it works great. The scoop size is tiny and I only really need 1/2 serving to get me going. The serving size is two scoops.

I've tried Orange Triad (Their Multi) and it's pretty good but I prefer a whole food Multi

I used Green Magnitude for a brief period. Noticed some nice fullness and size without bloating like you get from Monohydrate.

I hear REDuction is a great Weight Management/Fat Burner product but I don't really need it

Not much. All I really use is Whey Protein from Kaizen & Scivation + a multi-vitamin. CL's Orange Triad costs me $35 every two and a half months, the protein costs me $30 - $60 depending on if I go with the 5 lb Kaizen or the 10 lb Scivation.

Used to go all out with pre-workout stuff, creatine, test booster, etc,. Just not really worth it, imo.

Hey southpaw, what should I take post workout? Right now I'm taking a scoop of whey in water with a scoop of creatine and possibly cut up fruit/yogurt.

How effective is it to add things like waxy maize, gatorade, dextrose, glutamine, etc? My goal is just good recovery and muscular growth.

What a stud

The most cost efficient thing to do would be to to mix the 5g of creatine in gatorade and slam it after you finish. Then a Whey Protein Shake with a Banana a little while after.

I'd do the Whey with Yogurt and Fruit for a morning shake personally.

Right now I don't use any creatine at all.

I do 40-60g of Whey Post workout in Water with a Banana and it works fine for me. I can't afford the Post Workout carbs supps right now.

I think your question may be to general, because the supplements regimen varies by stage of training and what stage of competition you are in.

If you are just training to train and are looking for a way to cut weight and increase strength then I think $75-$200 a month is about right.

If you are looking to compete, are focused on cutting weight, adding strength, and muscle recovery then you would be looking at $125-$250 depending on how serious you get.

Me personally, not training for MMA, but getting back in shape after being 6' 2" 273, I spend about $250 a month.

One other thing, I see so many people on different forums (I mountain bike as well, and have friends who body build) ask what other people recommend. The reality is that the information that they got is something they may have heard or picked up over time, or worse got from the guy at GNC who makes $10 an hour. I am not saying that some of the things are correct, or that I am even correct, but be careful and do your research. The number one thing I see is people taking multiple supplements from several companies, because it worked for John and Mike, etc. You get the point.

Look for supplements that meet the highest level of testing available, are certified to not contain banned substances, and are meant to work together.

Just my first post and my .02.
