Mono sucks...

So I'm not sure what to do. I started an intense workout routine at home in about October. About 3 weeks ago, I finally got a gym membership. The next day I found out I have mono. I still tried to go to the gym, but it would always end up making the next two days miserable.

Now, two weeks later, I feel a little more like I might be able to start working out and running again. I feel miserable from missing these three weeks. I had to make a 24-hour stop at the hospital this past weekend, but that was for my throat, which doesn't seem to be affected by exercising. My only fear was for my spleen and liver, which have both gone down to near normal size.

I know mono is common so I bet some of you guys have seen the same problem. Should I keep trying to workout (the doctor said it should be alright if i keep it light), or should i keep laying around the house until I feel close to normal? What would you do in my position?
