Stretching Hips
Greetings,
I have limited flexibility in one area and I'd like to know the muscles, connective tissue involved please. If i lie on my back and bring my knees to my chest, i have to separate my knees to get them to my chest (making a "V" with my femur). If i keep my knees together they stop almost a foot further from my chest and don't seem to give much at all (when I stretch) since I have been trying to improve flexibility in this area. I have read about hip rotators, are they involved in this lack of flexibility? What other tissue is involved in this motion. Can I stretch this area in other ways? Thank You TT |
Have you tried PNF stretching?
