When to eat my protein.
I first would like to apologize if something like this was posted already. I have this schedule where I workout then i eat my meal, wich contains a lot of protein. Would it be best if i keep it that way or should i switch it around? For example, should i eat then workout, or work out half as much, eat then finish it off? What strategy is the best, not just mine, if you have your own please share. Thanks ahead of time if anyone helps!

You should have a very protein rich diet and be consuming the shit in nearly every meal (probably not breakfast). Definitely need it after a workout to aid muscle recovery.. chase it with a gatorade.. the eloctrolytes will rush the protein to your muscles.

Preferably casein protein, I don't believe that whey protein absorbs slower if matched with milk. The protein in the milk takes longer to absorb than whey, though.

I've never heard that drinking milk is bad in the evening, in fact, protein is one of the few foods that are told to be eaten at night. You generally wanna stay away from carbs/fats after dinner.

Your body recharges and rebuilds while you sleep. If you eat protein before sleep, you gain the most benefit.

Ditto what the others said.
I didn't realize until recently that it was good to have a shake before bed, but have done that the past six weeks or so. Local sports nutritionist said about 20 minutes before you go to bed is a great time for a shake.
