Face is numb.

Long story short, I was training with my trainer and he knocked the sh@# out of me in my face. Now the right side of my face has been numb for about a day now. I can still move everything I just cant feel anything. Any ideas on how to get the feeling back or is there any serious injuries related to this?

Oh no, I suggest you go to a doctor. Did you put some ice on your face immediately after he hit you so hard?

From the sound of it you should have some swelling maybe even bruising. If so it is blood going to that area. You should ice it for 20 min on and 20 min off. Also take some ibuprofen or something with neproxin sodium like aleeve. These will help reduce swelling take them as directed every so many hrs as they are more effective once there is a supply in your bloodstream. Do this for a few days. If it seems more serious than I described there could be a fracture, but as I am not there to inspect, that is your call. I had a similar problem when I took a hockey stick full swing to my cheek bone. Lots of swelling and bruising and numbness but no fracture. I looked like 2 face for about a week or so... Hope this helps

I would suggest ice, ibuprofen, and rest. If it doesn't feel any better after 3-5 days, consider seeing a doctor.

You can't feel half of your face? No, don't see a doctor, that's completely normal.
