after workouts you should be drinking protein shakes. myoplex is what i drink.
as far as a mid day snack. Any fruit I like red grapes or oranges sometimes a banana. A slice of whole wheat bread with simply jiff peanut butter on it. low fat sugar yogurt.
after workout snack should be high protein to kick up metabolism and increase mussel. high protein bars or shakes are the best for you man.
