Alright so just for starters I'm 190, 5'10.5" its mostly fat
I've started MMA about a month ago and have notice I have started to slim down but have not lost weight (assuming I'm building muscle from getting the shit kicked out of me every time
I wanted to start P90x but my schedule if difficult to do the workouts everyday and
go to the mma classes
I have been trying to do what P90x says by just loading up on protein and cutting carbs and fats.
So an average day for me for eating would be something along the lines of this
protein shake with skim milk
(if hungry I'll make some egg white about 4)
sliced low sodium/low fat turkey
Afternoon snack( generally after workout):
Protein shake with skim milk, and a banana
6" subway sandwich on whole wheat with turkey (double meat) or chicken, loaded with the vegetables and a little bit of mustard.
No eating for 3+ hours before bed
Drink only water with the occasion diet soda limited to 1 per day max
So my question is can I lose weight with this? My goal right now isn't to build muscle though I don't mind doing that but I want my gut flat (I want to stop carrying around the dead weight)
Also if I can't lose weight with this what should I change?
Do I have room in this so I can "cheat" once a week or so
Also how long would it take to start seeing some results?
