Supplements in the MMA Gym

How do you guys feel about your gym selling supplements up front in the pro shop. Do you think you would try what they have if its different than what you already use. If you dont use anything now would you try it because you think it could help you change.

At Evolution MMA in miami we are considering selling supps in our pro shop but don't know if the demand will be there.

FYI: We aren't a gym that is trying to get everyone to compete. A lot of our students train mma recreationally, but we do train hard and i think that our students could benefit from pre and post workout supplements.
Everyone wants to be a fighter

Supplement lines to carry

Guys, at we just reviewed over 80 product lines and will be awarding our Best Product of the Year on August 1st. I can tell you now that the best stuff we found (and are actually putting into our bodies as well!) is Brawl Nutrition based out of Atlanta. We didn't even know about them until we started the award process, and were freaking inundated with request by our readers. Brawl has a hardcore underground following with MMA and BJJ guys and they are growing! What's cool about Brawl is that they are doing other things for the industry like helping fighters find sponsors and stuff.

Anyway, you can check them out at am not sure if they are distributing or what but it doesn't hurt to ask right! lol

Another good line (a little pricey though) is Adaptx Labs. If you want instant recognition, carry IcemanRx. The product sells just because Chuck is on it, but you will have very little repeat buys with your MMA guys.

Just our two cents!
