Muscle Milk's a good protein. I think its big advatange is its taste. I personally use BSN Syntha6 purely for superficial reasons. The vanilla is amazing.
Pre, peri, and postworkout nutrition are key. If you plan your shakes around those three times, you'll see great results.
Just keep track of your daily protein intake, and add the shakes when you need that additional protein. The only time i ever suggest a shake over a solid meal is pre and postworkout, and that's only because of its quick release.
