Hello,

I'm new to the fitness game, I've started hitting the gym now and lifting weights. I've been at it for about 4 months, I have also started some MMA training. I was wondering what supplements everyone takes. I see so many multi-vitamins, joint relief, etc, but not sure what is the best and what I really need to help my workout and recovery. Does anyone have any suggestions on a daily supplement plan, and what brands are types you've seen actually help in your workout?

Thanks for your help

The base foundational supplements is usually Whey Protein, Multi Vitamin, Creatine, and Fish Oil. Then there are extras such as NO/Pre-Wo supps, BCAAs, Casein Protein, etc.

Depending on your age you shouldn't have to worry about joint supplements.

Notable brands include: Controlled Labs, Gaspari, Optimum Nutrition, Universal, Universal's Animal, Scivation, Athletic Edge Nutrition, Dymatize, etc.

Some of the supps I use include (not always together):
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein [Protein]
Controlled Labs Green MAGnitude [Creatine]
Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men [Multi]
Beast Sports Predator [Pre-Wo]
Scivation Xtend [BCAA]
Vitamin World Fish Oil [Fish Oil]
Controlled Labs Glycergrow [Glycerol] (sometimes, I hate downing it though, drink a lot of water with this like creatine)
