Training (or lack of it)

Hey everyone.
I have come across a problem.
Most of the time I can only hit the mats once a week some weeks none but some weeks twice.

Is this gonna cause my gains and problems?

I feel that I am improving even though my schedual is a bit unpredictable.

Its almost as if I like to be tapped out! lol

As far as I know training is training. Now your schedule might make progress a little slower but there should still be ample progress overall.

yeah was thinking that.
I still get to hit the gym and weight train 3 or 4 times a week just hitting the mats is a lil harder. I dont feel that im falling behind too much but obviously I dont know some of the techniques the other guys know.

Wont be gettibng my blue belt any time soon haha

Its almost as if I like to be tapped out! lol

Does your school do private lessons? If they do, you can fit one in with your schedule. If your serious about training, but don't have the time to do so, you could always practise some techniques at home.

nah they dont unfortunately. I do work on my game at home when I get the chance. Im serious about training too. Used to fight and I want to do a few comps. Im mainly a wrestler coz thats what I started with.

The schedual is usualy

monday- weights
Tuesday- weights
Wednesday- BJJ
Thursday- weights
Friday- BJJ
Saturday- Rest
Sunday- MMA every 2 weeks or rest

I try for at least 2 sessions on the mats a week.
I used to only hit the mats once a week and fought with that.
But that was a few years ago

Its almost as if I like to be tapped out! lol
