If you could train anywhere in the world
Sorry if this is the wrong catageory to post in, Im still new to the forum.
where would it be? and for what martial art? and give us a reason why?
Basically Im very serious about making mma a career, and I dont really have anywhere good to train in my local town in ontario. I love fighting more then anything, when Im not training I actually feel really down and depressed, its just something that keeps me happy. I have had only 2 kickboxing fights and 1 MMA fight and loved every second of each one.
I want to get out of here anyways, and Im 17 now and have the opportunity to move anywhere in the world. I do kickboxing and brazilian jiu jitsu mainly and have a bit of wrestling.
Id like to get into either traditional shotokan karate or some muay thai. The tradition shotokan would be great for me because I fight more passive then aggressive and I just love to counter. My first trainer in kickboxing was a passive fighter too so I guess I just picked up on it from him. Only problem is I cant find any places that teach the traditional ways of shotokan, its all about the point system now and its really disappointing.
