depends if you can loose weight easily, with my metabolism i could easily pull off 6 pounds and I'm 5-11 at 170. Especially if you just recently gained the weight, you could easily sweat a good amount of it out, and then you might have to work for the last couple pounds.

you don't want to over do it on water because water can add a lot of weight though water weight is easily lost it can easily be put on, when you start getting close to you weight, what you could do is get a cup and spit into the cup, until its full and then drink the same amount of water to avoid adding any excess weight. Or when you pee have a cup of water, but unless your really doing a lot of cardio just try to keep hydrated, but don't over do it with the water, also the worst thing you could do is eat late at night its the worst thing you can do when trying to cut weight.

For food small meals with lean meats with complex carbs. like a small piece of chicken, or fish and small sweet potato, or brown rice, with water no soda and no juice, you don't need the excess sugar.

that's just gonna be food in your belly. you can't actually amass real body weight that quickly. eat light and smart for the rest of the week, and stay hydrated until the final cut.

Well guys, having only 2 weeks to prpare for my first tournament ever, I told myself and my coaches that I want to at least win my first match and if i were to lose the second one, I would be okay with it.

I won my first match 23-0 by racking up points knee on bellying and mounting the sumbitch!

I found out that i didnt have to cut all that damn weight because the weight class was 160-179...

my second fight was against a guy much larger than me...I got taken down pulled guard and made a stupid descicion by doing something I NEVER ******* DO I opend my guard and tried to take his back...from there he jumped out of my guard and i got up to try and get a takedown only to get my back taken and choked out

I took this as a learning exp...i will never try to do something thats never worked for me, I will train 6 weeks ahead of time, and ill actualy learn some real takedowns haha

Overall Im happy with myself until i think about the dumb mistake i did

Glad everything went well. Congrats on the win and like everyone says, you only win after you learn from your losses
