routine help

im trying to figure out a good routine that will work for me. im 210-220ish. almost 6ft. recently lost 25 pounds so im feeling better. Last week i bought a 70lb heavy bag and a speedbag. wraps and mma gloves. thats all i really have to train with. i do have some weights but i have to work on clearing that out later tonight. id like to do something every night if possible. maby except for saturdays. i do admit that i have anger problems so at the end of the day taking it out on the heavy bag or speedbag has helped me alot through the last week. now im wondering like what i should do what days or how many minutes i should do the heavy bag then speedbag then weights for. any help is appreciated as i am the noob.

A typical heavy bag routine will look something like this,

Warm-Up
Light bag round or shadow boxing to build up a light sweat and then stretch out lightly.

Power Boxing
3 x 3-minute rounds, this is to work on your technique, throw combos, work your footwork, keep your head moving and hands up.
4 x 1-minute power boxing, all out power punches in these rounds.
5 x 30-second punch out drills, each drill should have one non-stop combo, thrown with full speed and power.

Cool-Down
Shadow boxing and stretch out.

With a routine like that you work on skill, power and conditioning, do that and you wont go wrong but feel free to mix it up. Remember the better your technique is the better your workout will be so don't get sloppy and investing in a pair of boxing gloves will also help, your hand speed will increase much better.

Also you don't need gear to keep fit, there are other things that you can do as well like body weights and running.

thanks, one other question. are all of those diffrent supplements worth it or is their a good one to try? just wondering if it would be worth buying one

When taking supplements you need to think about what you would like to gain from them as different supplements do different things. For you I would recommend getting a tub of Protein Powder, Whey is the best but is the most expensive, in the store I get my stuff from they normally have different deals on every time I go there so just have a look around and cheap out if you can. There are a lot of benefits to taking protein, protein helps build and repair muscles, so you will notice more gain from your workouts and the next day you wont feel as bad. Remember though that taking supplements is not a substitute for eating healthily, you still need to eat well and drink plenty of water.

well today i got some whey protien. is there any flavorless stuff because the taste of that SUCKS. but beggers cant be choosers. jw if theres any tasteless stuff that does the same thing. i also got afew super whey protien shots? same stuff?

Yeah there are some flavorless options out there but I'm not sure just how flavorless they are, I'm sure they would be worth a try though. What flavor did you pick up and are you mixing it with water or milk?

yeah. they didnt have much there so i took it. i might run to gnc today if i can to see what else is there
