some good ideas there.

also i believe the guy sells PDF with instructions on how to fix the problem. Helped my buddy who is pretty much a runner and got to the point where he couldn't run anymore.

Been a distance runner for a long time (dealt with them a lot), and i've coached easiest and simplest thing you can do for relief is to fill a dixie cup with water freeze it, and then massage your shin with the ice.
