Quick question..

Hey all, I have just got a quick question for anyone who can help and answer it for me... I have just recently decided to get into training for MMA fighting. I know there are a lot of good and bad protein drinks out there so I was just wanting to ask you all what protein drinks you think are good to use and which ones you all actually use? Thanks.

Zapatista has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I don't buy protein drinks, I make my own. I buy 100% Whey Protein from GNC (vanilla works the best), then add some soy milk and throw in some fruit (whatever you want, I've used bananas and I've used strawberries). Put that all together in a blender and then blend until you get it at a consistency that you want, then enjoy.

Any type of whey protein is good. Whey protein is ideal in the follwoing situations:

1) Half hour before training
2) Immediately after training
3) Before you go to bed

Make sure you mix your simple sugars in with the whey especially post. Get a great multi+glutamine as well
