The Diesel has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Shin Splints?

What are they and how do i prevent/fix them? I think i have shin splints, i recently started running alot and after a couple of days the front of my right shin hurts only when im running. sound like shin splints?

It definitely sounds like shin splints. I ran throughout high school on the track team. You can stretch the muscle in front, but mine always seemed to just go away. Don't let in deter you from running. Just keep doing what you're doing without sacrificing form.

Sounds like it. A friend of mine (runner and football/soccer player) and it took him 6-7 months to get rid of them. In the end he went to a professional physiotherapist. Here's a reference from the web:

Well i have a bad wrist righ now also, i think its fractured, and now i cant run cause i have shin splints. This sucks big time.

i had the same problem sum time ago if u have acsess to a cross trainer or steping machine that takes the impact .it was my only choice as i had to keep up my cardio now after bout six months im able to train pain free

Yea my gym has some stair steppers, is that what your talking about? They give a pretty good workout. I have been running on a "wood paddle" treadmill. The entire running area moves rather than sliding like a regular treadmill, its supposed to be easier on the joints, feels better but it still hurts. It kinda sucks because i can burn a crap load more calories running than any other workout.
