Hello all, I`m an absolute novice when it comes to the art of boxing/mma and i`m now using kick boxing as a way to get fitter and lose unwanted fat.
I`ve started going to my local boxing gym to get started and had a couple of sessions with my PT, who is well into mma, he says i have alot of power but no coordination, on the mitts I will do timed rounds with him, he says my power is good but i take my eye off he`ll slap me round the head with the mitts telling me to look at him not the mitts, I know this is all part of learning and i dont mind it at all,
my question is how do i improve this is there anything i can do to train myself to stop looking at the mitts and to get better coordination?
I want to get the power, speed and coordination right before i start sparring and get the s@@t kicked out of me..
