Best way to lose weight?

So basically im wondering, what is the best way to lose weight, im going to the gym 6 times a week now, doing med-high intensity cardio, and im really strict about what i eat/dont eat

i was just wondering if there are any tips or tricks that could help speed up the process, or a least make it more efficient. I heard weight training is one of the best ways to lose weight (besides cardio) but is there anything else i should know?

Diet:
Carbs in meals prior to workouts.
No carbs in meals after workout times.

Workout:
Cardio == heart == burns calories during workouts
weight training == builds muscle == burns calories during and post workout == burning calories passively (muscle repair)

IMHO, do both types... start off with some light cardio to get the heart rate up.
Do the weights, tear those muscles up.
End the workout with more cardio to burn up the lactic acid so that you dont feel sore all day.

If you do interval cardio at varying levels of intensity (like HIIT) throughout, you will burn fat either way.
