Look... If all you do is drink, of course you're going to be horrible shape. Hell, you can die from drinking too much water (it's hydro-toxin poisoning). You don't believe me, read this article here. It's the same way with doughnuts, hamburgers and salty foods. Guess what? You don't have to be 21 to legally buy those.

It takes a while. Obviously, the more heavily you drink, the quicker it will occur, and you have other factors to take in consideration. I wouldn't able to give you a concrete estimation as it is like stating how long it takes to get out of shape. That sort of thing will vary from person to person. The really screwed up part about it is that "beer bellies" are hard as hell to get rid of, due to the fact that it isn't just a sympton of being out-of-shape, you have to let your internal organs heal up. Unfotunately, a damage liver isn't like a broken arm that you can put in a cast and not use for a month at a time. So the regenerative process is slow.

It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree... As long as I don't bore you and I spark a moment of thought, my goal is achieved.

To stay healthy while drinking, drink as much water as you do units. When I'm out I try and drink a pint of water to every pint of beer. I rarely stick to it, but its what needs doing if you don't wanna **** your body up through dehidration.

To help your body recover, try and take a break after a big binge and drink loads of milk thistle to help your organs recover. It'll keep yo in good shape.
