To fight the pain its too late now, unless you want to get something like tiger balm or even aleeve. Creatine will only help if you start taking it every day for a few days before you start anything. Grab some glutamine powder and take 5g every night, and/or 5g creatine if you want to to do that. It mostly just sounds like you overworked yourself... it will prob hurt the 2nd and maybe 3rd time, but 4th time it should just wear you out. for the record I thought this was going to be a "I lift tons of weight, why is this so hard?" type of thread haha
P.S. It is also my personal belief that you should get your diet and nutrition 100% solid before relying on any supplements. But thats just internet opinion
Awesome, thank you. I feel a lot better then yesterday, haha.
My coach called me and asked why I wasn't in, said I was in pain and that's what he was thinking. He just said I need to stretch before I leave the gym, he said he'd do it with me on monday when I go in next, drink lots of water and get good rest. I would go in today, but I'm stuck here at work.
My diet and nutrition is constant and has been for about 6 months now, that was the hardest part so far, but I got it down now. I eat right and drink about a gallon of water a day, maybe a bit more on average. The only supplements I take is a daily vitamin and fish oils (the good ones). So I'll ask my coach about that stuff on monday.
Thanks for the tips!
And yeah, I knew this would be different then heavy lifting, I just didn't know it would be so drastic of a change. I had thought my body was in decent shape, I mean I have great cardio and stamina for a larger guy, always have. Never smoked anything or done any drugs other then pain killers when I snapped my arm (humerus) while arm wrestling in december, HAHA! But I've been off that stuff for about 3 weeks now.
Required 5 hours of surgery, 1 titanium plate and 13 titanium screws. Just got out of physical therapy about 2 weeks ago, and my arm feels fantastic other then a little loss in range of motion. I even got dropped on it a few times and there isn't any pain.
