Ya can't just tell him to do both. He's not made it clear what his needs are yet. Expecially since both target cardio AS WELL AS simliar AND different objectives.

Basically i want to be able to go through a whole MMA fight without getting gassed. This is because im hoping to do some amature fights in the future (iam 16)
